The most powerful and dynamic headjoint. Never struggle to project again on this powerhouse that will fill the concert hall with ease while still being flexible, clear, colorful and beautifully nuanced. A bit more resistant than our other styles, the Orchid centers your sound without feeling too constrictive. This is a responsive headjoint that is beautifully smooth through all three octaves and is perfectly suited for those that want their use of colors and nuance to take center stage.

This headjoint is custom made for you with the perfect levels of resistance, response, color and nuance that you need. Options that can be customized to your specifications include: lip plate size, lip plate geometry, riser height, embouchure shape, undercutting and overcutting. We also offer a variety of crown shapes and weights that can be customized to your preference as well.
